18 February , I had the chance to visit a museum in Shah Alam. While walking through one of the galleries, my eyes caught a simple-looking picture that written in Jawi and Arabic. At first, I thought it was just a piece of calligraphy. But guess what?
It was actually about ‘mathematics and the dot in Islamic art’ especially in Arabic calligraphy. I was amazed and felt so lucky to receive such deep and valuable knowledge.
To me, this is something truly priceless because if we truly understand it, it connects to ‘classical Roman architecture’ , the balance, symmetry, and hidden beauty behind every line and dot.
